Old textiles. New rituals.
The Story Behind the Textiles
Every piece begins long before it becomes a bag, a skirt or a table linen.
My work starts with the search for rare vintage Anatolian textiles, sourced through a network of small independent sellers across Turkey, alongside antique trimmings that complement each piece.
Years of searching have trained my eye to recognise textiles worthy of a second life. I am drawn to colours, textures and embroidery that feel as relevant today as they did decades ago.
Each fabric is then thoughtfully transformed into a contemporary piece — from skirts and bags to table linens and objects for the home. Because these textiles exist only in limited quantities, every creation is inherently one of a kind.
My aim is simple: to preserve the character and history of these remarkable materials while giving them a new purpose and a new life.
